CVMRC (Classic Vintage & Modern Racing Club of Jersey) – Club & Event Secretary Vacancy
The CVMRC is seeking a new Club Secretary, as our current secretary is leaving the island. This is a key role at the heart of our club’s activities.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Attend monthly club meetings (last Wednesday of each month), take minutes, and circulate them to members.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting papers in advance.
  • Liaise with relevant motor sport bodies to apply for event licences.
  • Manage event entries and be present at events to sign on members and officials.
  • Maintain annual club membership records.
  • Support the running of our two major annual events:
    • JIMF (early June)
    • Festival of Speed (late August)

These roles could also see club and event responsibilities be split between two roles should two worthy candidates come forward!

Tools we use: Dropbox for document storage, Hotmail for club email, and Rallies.info for event organisation.
What we’re looking for:
  • Organised and reliable, with good communication skills.
  • Comfortable using email and basic online systems.
  • Able to attend events on-site and support the team.
  • Some knowledge of motor sport administration is helpful but not essential.
If you’re interested in classic and modern racing, enjoy working with an enthusiastic team, and can help keep our club running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.
